President Jamie Izaks Discusses Client Relationship Building Tips
For the September seminar, All Points President Jamie Izaks shared with the team different ways to build and maintain personal, respectful relationships with our clients.
As Jamie pointed out in his seminar, we play an important role in our clients’ businesses and lives – we provide a service that enhances franchise growth plans, consumer-facing messaging and franchise lead development. However, as Jamie said, it’s important to get to know our clients personally to help build trust.
Using examples from our current client roster, Jamie demonstrated the importance of consistent communication, proper planning and organization when it comes to client interactions. We discussed ways to keep our clients updated on our pitching priorities, using progress updates and developing new projects to freshen up campaigns.
With a host of franchise industry clients that we’re always working on and with, it’s easy to simply power through the workday, crossing items off the to-do list and stacking up results for our clients. However, Jamie showcased the necessity of taking a few minutes out of our days to update the clients personally so they feel “in the know.” This helps quantify our value as PR pros.
