Smoke’s Brands Unite Under One Roof in Groundbreaking Smoke’s Food Court Concept

Innovative Three-Brand Unit Marks New Era in Restaurant Industry History

TORONTO Smoke’s Brands, the powerhouse Canadian empire known best for Smoke’s Poutinerie – the “World’s Largest and Original Poutinerie,” today announced the opening of a Smoke’s Food Court concept, which includes Smoke’s Poutinerie, Smoke’s Weinerie and Smoke’s Burritorie in a single unit. The food court will celebrate its grand opening on May 30 beside the renowned Smoke’s Brands Global Headquarters at 85 Kingston Road East in Ajax, Ontario.

Smoke’s Food Court will stand as a symbol of the “Wow-Size” power Smoke’s Poutinerie, Smoke’s Weinerie and Smoke’s Burritorie command,” said Ryan Smolkin, founder and CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer) of all Smoke’s Brands. “Each brand is already successful across the country on their own, but together they’ll create an insane gastronomical sensation unlike anything the world has ever seen.”

The Smoke’s Food Court will include an expanded retail area with separate but conjoined Smoke’s Poutinerie, Smoke’s Weinerie and Smoke’s Burritorie options. Fans can stuff their face with poutine, grab a weiner and devour a fistful of great burritos, all in one outrageously delectable location.

To celebrate the grand opening on May 30, Smoke’s Food Court will be giving away free chips and salsa, traditional poutine and steamies from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The entire food court will be decked out in full Smoke gear with stickers and temporary tattoos available for all guests.

Following the grand opening, Smoke’s Food Court will be honoring local police, fire and EMS personnel with a special Hero Day on June 15. The brand will also recognize local businesses and residents on Neighbours Day on June 29. Specific details on each event will be announced at a later date.

Smoke’s Brands has no intention of limiting the growth of the trendsetting Smoke’s Food Court to Ajax. The standalone three-brand concept will soon grace residential areas, business parks and city centers across Canada, each taking up between 2,500 to 3,000 square feet.

With more than 100 locations coast-to-coast in Canada and an unstoppable force of immeasurably loyal fans, Smoke’s Poutinerie has opened the door for Smoke’s Weinerie and Smoke’s Burritorie to thrive. The company’s plans for “Global Domination” have already kicked into high gear as Smoke’s Poutinerie grows internationally, with several locations open and in development in the United States.

“We opened about 40 units across Smoke’s Brands in 2015 alone thanks to our pursuit of ‘Global Domination,’” said Smolkin. “We’re bringing Smoke’s Brands to every single city and country in the world! The ‘Gravy Train’ is speeding full steam ahead and we’ve got a line of people waiting to jump onboard to stoke the flames. There’s absolutely no slowing down the ‘Gravy Train!’”

Smolkin is the originator of the concept and its first brand Smoke’s Poutinerie – a leading destination devoted to the beloved, iconic Canadian dish. His original approach with Smoke’s Poutinerie has turned it into an electrifying and engaging brand. Smoke’s Brands flies in the face of convention at every level with its innovative creations like the Hangover Poutine and Chicken and Waffle Burrito, insane guerrilla marketing and weird, wild and wacky nature.

Beyond the menu and entertaining in-store experience, Smoke’s Brands are celebrated for their irreverence, as typified by unconventional events such as the annual Smoke’s Poutinerie World Poutine Eating Championship and the Smoke’s Poutinerie World Famous Great Canadian Cross Country Plaid Gravy Train Fries Curd & Gravy Weird Wild and Wacky Poutine Eating Tour.
