Office Pride Increases Presence in Northern Virginia

Demand Soars Locally for Higher Quality, Trusted Commercial Cleaning

Stafford Entrepreneurs Launch Local Office of America’s Most Admired Commercial Cleaning Company

STAFFORD, Va. – In a stale sea of sameness, Office Pride is emerging as an icon of progress in the commercial cleaning industry.

Now, the company’s distinctions are being magnified with today’s announcement that Office Pride has opened a new office serving Northern Virginia – Office Pride of Dale City. Owned and operated locally as a franchise, the new Office Pride location serves the Counties of Stafford, Prince William, Fairfax and Fauquier.

“There is no question that the demand is there, but more importantly commercial cleaning needs its own scrubbing. Office Pride has been such a difference maker because of the professionalism, honesty and integrity that is inherent in the business,” said Chris Muuya, a Stafford resident who runs the business with his wife Loyce. “We’re a refreshing experience for businesses. Beginning with our communication and continuing through the services we provide, we excel at being a true partner to our clients.”

The high quality cleaning services that Office Pride offers to its clientele focuses on routine janitorial work, which includes carpet cleaning, window washing, restroom sanitization and more. These services are often conducted in commercial and community spaces ranging from corporate offices to professional medical offices to schools to churches. Office Pride also proudly upholds its commitment to reducing its ecological footprint by using Green Seal™ certified cleaning products with every service.

Kenyan immigrants and now U.S. citizens, the Muuyas have a unique journey into entrepreneurship with Office Pride. Chris is originally from Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city. He is an accomplished certified public accountant and adjunct college professor that worked for World Vision, an international humanitarian organization, for more than 20 years. Loyce, an educator, is from Nyeri, Kenya’s central highlands. Loyce grew up in a family of eight children and is the daughter of a pastor. She has taught music in the Prince William County School District for nearly a decade. Together, Loyce and Chris bring complementary skills to running their new Office Pride business.

“To be on this path together is a dream come true for us,” added Loyce, who taught in Kenya before immigrating to the United States. “We’re excited about what it means for us and the opportunities for employment for others, as well as the difference we can make for local businesses.”

Plus, for the Muuyas and the more than 100 franchise locations around the country, Office Pride is more than a superior commercial cleaning business. Unlike any other commercial cleaning franchise, Office Pride bridges entrepreneurship in a profitable business with personal values including honesty, integrity, hard work and a sincere commitment to faith. This rock solid foundation has offered a launching pad for several new initiatives being implemented to foster the brand’s growth.
