ATAX to Expand Award-Winning Tax Services in Augusta

Local Entrepreneurs Sign Agreement with ATAX to Open Two New Offices

AUGUSTA, Ga. – ATAX, the leading three-in-one tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll franchise, has signed an agreement with local entrepreneurs Rosa Graham and Donna Schreiber to open two new offices in the Augusta area.

Graham and Schreiber are planning fall 2015 openings for both of their new locations. The duo’s first ATAX office, located in Martinez, Georgia, opened in 2013 and is now one of the most successful ATAX offices in the nation. Together, Schreiber and Graham have a combined 44 years of tax and accounting experience.

“We are thrilled to be expanding to serve more clients in Augusta and the surrounding areas,” said Schreiber, who worked alongside Graham at another national tax preparation brand for 13 years before the two decided to become business partners. “After witnessing the impact our first office had on local residents and businesses, we knew we wanted to offer those same services to more people throughout Augusta. ATAX’s advanced technology and support systems keep us ahead of the curve in the industry, allowing us to provide invaluable services to our clients.”

Schreiber and Graham fell in love with the business model and culture associated with ATAX and knew its services could fill a niche locally. Together, the duo brings an impressive amount of leadership and tax preparation experience. Their combined experience and commitment to entrepreneurial success gives them the necessary skill set to serve the growth of ATAX offices in the area.

“Rosa and Donna are exactly the right entrepreneurs to grow the brand throughout Augusta,” said Rafael Alvarez, founder and CEO of ATAX. “Their business intellect is outstanding, and it has been truly demonstrated with the success of their first office. They really understand our systematic growth approach and recognize the strong demand for these particular services in the region.”

There are currently more than 40 ATAX locations in seven states, with 100-plus franchise units projected to be open and in development in the next 20 months.

Alvarez launched ATAX in 1986 in New York City’s Washington Heights neighborhood. After decades of success and national recognition, Alvarez began franchising ATAX in 2007, sharing the opportunity for driven entrepreneurs such as Graham and Schreiber to become part of its growth.
