Northern Illinois Franchise Association to Spotlight Veterans who Inspire Greatness

Franchise Brands Empower Military Veterans through Entrepreneurial Opportunities

DEERFIELD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois Franchise Association (NIFA) has announced that it will spotlight “Veterans who Inspire Greatness” during its Fall Luncheon. With Veteran’s Day quickly approaching on Nov. 11, the event draws attention to the thousands of military veterans turning to franchising for its unique entrepreneurial opportunities.

The luncheon will take place on Thursday, Nov. 5 at Formento’s (925 W. Randolph St., Chicago) from noon to 2 p.m. The panel discussion will include representatives from franchise brands that empower military veterans through franchise and employment opportunities.

“Franchising offers a unique opportunity for military veterans returning from service,” said Jamie Izaks, NIFA co-founding member and president of All Points Public Relations, a nationally renowned public relations agency specializing in working with franchisors. “Additionally, many franchisors offer military discounts to franchise candidates who have served our country.”

Panelists for the NIFA Fall Luncheon include John C. Kohler, Area Developer at Sport Clips, Vincent J. Caffarello, President at Duraclean International and Thomas J. Kasbohn, Director of Franchising at Snap-On Tools. Plus, lawmakers from around the region will be represented and speaking at the luncheon regarding the strength of the qualities and attributes veterans bring to entrepreneurship.

“We are pleased to spotlight several companies empowering veterans through franchising at our Fall Luncheon,” said Andrew Bleiman, NIFA co-founding member and managing attorney with Marks & Klein, one of America’s leading law firms focused on the franchise industry with a Chicago office. “NIFA continues to connect the most dedicated industry professionals in Chicagoland and help them have a unified voice.”
