Homewatch CareGivers Accelerates Franchise Growth to Meet Demand for Quality Home Care Services

Renowned Home Care Company to Increase Franchise Presence through Strategic Franchise Expansion Initiative

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. – Homewatch CareGivers, a leading home care company with a growing presence across the Americas, announced today a strategic North American franchising growth plan. The expansion plan calls for the company to increase its footprint in key markets in order to enhance its ability to provide high quality at-home assistive services to a greater number of clients.

Homewatch CareGivers provides home care services for families arranging care for senior-aged loved ones and others living with chronic illnesses, convalescing after illness or surgery or who prefer to age in their own homes under the supervision and care of highly trained caregivers. With over 200 units across 34 states domestically, as well as in Canada, Central America and South America, Homewatch CareGivers is planning to open up to 15 franchised locations annually beginning with targeted markets in Florida. Additional key markets include Texas, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

“We keep a strong finger on the pulse of the demand for quality home care services across the country and internationally,” said Chip Baranowski, director of franchise development for Homewatch CareGivers. “Our franchise growth initiative and solid support system will propel us into even more markets where we can provide the best individualized home care services for seniors and their families.”

Signaling the appeal to potential franchise owners, Homewatch CareGivers has consistently been recognized in Entrepreneur’s prestigious “Franchise 500” ranking every year since 1999. Having also been named to Franchise Business Review’s “Top 50” annually since 2008, Homewatch CareGivers strives to provide best-in-class support for its franchisees. The home office has a unique support system in place for its franchisees. In addition to its proven model, the home office works closely with each franchisee to establish a 52-week Business Implementation Plan (BIP), which addresses areas that are needed for a franchisee to run a high-quality, successful operation in their first year. Further, new owners are coached through a Market Action Plan (MAP) with focused training on client acquisition, networking and strategies for community outreach, as well as creating detailed and individualized marketing plans. The home office, which is also referred to as the company’s Franchise Support Center, provides an ideal model that each franchisee can easily roll out in their respective markets, and the team offers subject-matter expert advice to help their franchisees seamlessly find success on a localized level.

“We’re in a strong position for growing our franchisee family,” said Julie Smith, president and COO with Homewatch CareGivers. “We have an outstanding support system in place and our existing franchisees’ overall revenues are consistently returning all-time highs. Our concept provides individuals a chance to increase their quality of life beyond what corporate America could provide and we’re confident in our current and future franchisee prospects.”

Ideal Homewatch CareGivers franchisees have a strong passion for helping people and are active members of their communities. They enjoy working with others – whether it be with their clients, their staff or their local communities – in order to ultimately make a difference for everyone around them. The estimated initial investment for a Homewatch CareGivers franchise ranges from $87,000 to $137,400, which includes a franchisee fee of $49,000. Interested individuals must also have a minimum net worth of $350,000 and $50,000 liquid capital to ensure additional funding is available while launching their franchise.
