CMIT Solutions Announces Expanded Growth in the New York Metropolitan Area

CMIT Solutions Expands into Key Territories throughout Suffolk County and Tribeca; Local Area Developers Open Regional Office to Intensify Expansion throughout the Tri-State Area

MERRICK, NY – CMIT Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of information technology (IT) services to the small and medium-sized business (SMB) community, today announced the launch of a new regional support center, which will be used to grow the brand’s footprint into new territories throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

Building on the momentum the company has achieved in the past six months, which includes launching two new locations in Tribeca and Northern Suffolk County, the group of local regional developers looks to add more than 20 locations in the next five years.

“The fact that we have signed two new franchisees within months of each other will set the tone for the coming year,” said Tony Puzzo, president of CMIT Solutions of Greater Hackensack and area developer for Northern New Jersey and Southern NY State. “Communities throughout the New York metropolitan area are very attractive to us from a development standpoint and we believe there is considerable opportunity to expand our footprint here over time, especially in the outer boroughs of NYC, where we still have considerable room for growth.”

With 30 franchise locations currently operating in the Tri-State region, including 18 locations in the state of New York, CMIT Solutions has more than 150 locations based throughout the United States and Canada. The two recent additions include CMIT Solutions of Tribeca and CMIT Solutions of Mid-Suffolk County, which are owned and operated by David Grubb and Gerry Loccisano, respectively.

“The demand for affordable, enterprise-level technology solutions and support has never been greater,” adds Armando D’Accordo, president of CMIT Solutions of South Nassau and area developer for New York City’s five boroughs and Long Island. “By expanding into new locations we can service local business owners with minimal effort, while also joining and supporting the local chambers of commerce and community organizations.”

CMIT Solutions’ franchise offices are independently owned and operated. Unlike most local IT consultants, CMIT Solutions has established cost-saving relationships with well-known technology partners, including Dell, Microsoft, and Intuit. Plus, being part of a national franchise offers the opportunity to tap into a large consulting network of knowledgeable business owners, a nationwide network of technical support as well as corporate support staff.

“As a CPA I understand the need for compliance and adherence to strict regulations, and we can bring that knowledge to SMB owners who may have trouble keeping up with HIPAA, FTC and IRS regulations,” said Armand J. D’Accordo, another local area developer in the Tri-State area. “Many of our locations are already HIPAA and CompTia accredited, which adds a layer of expertise to our services that most independent IT firms can’t match.”

Entrepreneurially spirited individuals interested in owning a CMIT Solutions franchise should have the ability to invest between $125,000 to $175,000, which includes working capital and the typical franchise fee of $49,950-$60,000. CMIT franchisees are given a sizable territory based on ZIP codes and can expect to have 3,000 to 4,000 prime target businesses in their protected marketing territory. Additionally, the local area developers provide sales and operational support to individual owners in the local market, along with coordination of events and group efforts across the region.
