Bonjour Buford and Little Rock!

La Madeleine Arrives in Georgia and Arkansas to Satisfy Cravings for Country French Cuisine

DALLAS – La Madeleine Country French Café, the acclaimed, authentic country French bakery café recently opened two new cafés in Buford, Georgia and Little Rock, Arkansas. Known for its French cuisine handcrafted daily with fresh, seasonally inspired ingredients and comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, la Madeleine’s Buford café is located at 1795 Mall of Georgia Blvd. across the street from Mall of Georgia and the Little Rock café is located at 12210 W. Markham in the Rock Creek Square Plaza Shopping Center.

The Buford la Madeleine bakery café is the first of 10 locations that R. Hakim Corp., the San Antonio-based ownership group, will open throughout Georgia as part of a multi-unit agreement. Continuing to build momentum for la Madeleine’s franchising initiative, Buford’s new bakery café further solidifies the brand’s presence in the state.

The café in Little Rock is the first of five locations to open in Arkansas over the next few years as part of a franchise agreement with LM Ark Holdings, an established multi-unit, multi-brand franchise development group based in Little Rock. The Chi Family, a group of seasoned restaurateurs, is the driving force bringing la Madeleine to Little Rock.

The new cafés feature rustic county French décor, wood floors, beamed ceilings and double-sided fireplaces. Guests can also take a peek into the bakery where pastries and bread is freshly baked and handcrafted daily.

Known for its signature Tomato Basil Soupe and Chicken Caesar Salade, la Madeleine serves freshly prepared, handcrafted menu items such as omelettes and quiche for breakfast, homemade soupes, salades and sandwiches for lunch, and dinner entrées, savory crêpes and pastas, as well as authentic French patisseries and viennoiserie.

As one of the originators of the French casual concept, la Madeleine was founded in 1983 by French country entrepreneur Patrick Esquerré, and has continued to be an industry innovator since then. La Madeleine is committed to using the season’s freshest ingredients and adapting to guests’ varied tastes, while maintaining its French authenticity both on the menu and in each café’s warm and comfortable interior.
