My Pie Pizza Signs Five-Unit Development Deal

Bringing New York-Style Custom Pizza to Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – My Pie Pizza, the fast casual custom pizza brand renowned for serving New York-style pizzas in a New York minute, announced today a multi-unit agreement to bring five locations of the fast casual pizzeria to the Omaha area over the next three years.

Legacy Franchise Group brokered the multi-unit franchise agreement, which is the first of its kind for the custom pizza chain. My Pie began franchising earlier this year, expanding upon its existing locations in Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona.

“This multi-unit agreement represents a significant step in My Pie’s franchise development strategy,” said John Merendino, CEO of My Pie Pizza. “The Omaha market presents tremendous opportunity to build excitement around the brand and we’re eager to see My Pie continue to expand its presence throughout the country.”

My Pie signed the agreement for the multi-unit deal with local entrepreneur, Blair Horner. A veteran of the food production industry, Horner was drawn to the business model and commitment to excellent customer service that My Pie offers. His expertise in operations management, food safety and quality management gives him an added appreciation of the skills necessary to serve the growth of My Pie in the Omaha area.

“Blair is the perfect franchisee to grow the My Pie brand in Omaha,” said Fred Auzenne, CEO of Legacy Franchise Group. “Blair’s business experience is outstanding, and he truly understands the My Pie concept and business model.”
